Response to Food Inspection issues at Abram Lansing and Harmony Hill elementary schools

As you may have seen in the Albany Business Review, Cohoes City School District recently received food inspection violations for having dented canned goods in stock at Abram Lansing and Harmony Hill elementary schools. The identified cans were immediately removed from the stock and returned to the vendor for credit. At Abram Lansing, a batch of chicken nuggets was also identified as having cooled to slightly below the appropriate temperature during holding. A follow-up inspection was conducted at Abram Lansing on Oct. 3 and passed without issue. Harmony Hill passed the initial inspection, so a follow-up inspection was not required.  read the full story>>
