February 9, 2016—Four seats on the Cohoes City School District Board of Education will be on the school budget vote ballot on May 17. Two seats are set to expire on June 30, and two seats remained vacant after board member resignations in the 2015-16 school year. Candidates who are interested in running for a three-year term on the board can pick up a petition at the district office, 7 Bevan Street (third floor at Cohoes Middle School) beginning today.
Candidates are required to submit a petition with 100 original signatures no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27.
