Bomb threat forces evacuation at Cohoes High School

Police find no credible threat; students return to building

October 4, 2016—Cohoes High School was evacuated for about one hour this afternoon after a bomb threat was found written on a restroom wall.

While students and staff remained outside, investigators from the Cohoes Police Department and Albany County Sherriff's K-9 unit swept the building and found no credible threat. Students and staff were then permitted to return to the building.

Students will leave for the day at the regular 2:30 p.m. dismissal time.
