Threats made on social media under investigation

December 12, 2016—Cohoes High School administrators became aware this morning that two students tweeted threats directed at the school. Administrators promptly contacted Cohoes PD, who began an investigation. As a precaution, there was increased police presence during student arrival this morning and the students in question were not allowed on campus.

“We work very hard to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff,” said Superintendent Jennifer Spring. “We take all threats very seriously and are fully cooperating with law enforcement during this investigation.”
