More than 150 Cohoes Middle School parents and guardians on Friday went back to school, shadowing their children in classes throughout the day.
“This is one of my favorite days of the year,” principal Dan Martinelli said. “Parents get to see how hard their kids work, and the kids are really excited to have them in the classroom.”
School leaders and teachers had a number of special activities scheduled, including rocket launches and technology demonstrations.
“This is eye-opening for parents,” Martinelli added. “They’re often impressed at how organized our students have to be, how they work in teams, and the integration of technology in each class.”
