At a recent Board of Education meeting, the district recognized long-time faculty and staff who have or will be retiring.
In total, there are 13 employees whose combined service equals 324 years.
2021-22 Cohoes City School District retirees:
- Christine Bastian – Full-time Aide, 21 years, Cohoes Middle School
- Deborah Beaulac – Full-time Aide, 30 years, Cohoes Middle School
- Marilyn Case – Teacher Assistant, 17 years, Cohoes High School
- Tracy Darwak – Cleaner, 32 years, Cohoes Middle School
- Karen DeCenzo – Head Cook, 24 years, Harmony Hill School
- Linda Harbacz – Full-time Aide, 27 years, Van Schaick Grade School
- Kathy Lorman – Teacher Aide – 29 years, Abram Lansing School
- Johanna Maloney – District Clerk,13 years, District Office
- Patricia Ragule – Teacher, 31 years, Abram Lansing School
- Annette Selig – Teacher, 20 years, Abram Lansing School
- Holly Smith – Teacher, 33 years, Van Schaick Grade School
- Stacie Sorel – Teacher Aide, 25 years, Van Schaick Grade School
- Laura Urban – Full-time Aide, 22 years, Harmony Hill School
