At the recent Board of Education meeting, long-time faculty and staff who are set to retire were recognized for their outstanding contributions.
There are five employees with a combined total of 110 years of service to the district.
- Cheryl Barber – School Nurse, Van Schaick Grade School – 14 years
- Patty Caputo – English teacher, Cohoes High School – 22 years
- Kim Coluccio – AIS teacher, Van Schaick Grade School – 28 years
- Suzanne Dunn – French teacher, Cohoes Middle School – 19 years
- Jude Pingelski – Art teacher, Cohoes Middle School – 27 years
“On behalf of the Board of Education, I’d like to thank you for your contribution to our students and school community. We are congratulating you, but also saying farewell, which brings some sadness,” said Superintendent Peggy O’Shea. “You will be missed.”
