In order to streamline our communication efforts and ensure families and individuals directly impacted by cases affiliated with our school community receive and read important updates, we will post daily updates to this page.

Beginning Sept. 13, 2021, COVID updates and/or messages reporting any cases confirmed by Albany County Department of Health will be posted here daily (Monday-Friday while school is in session). Please be sure to bookmark this page if you would like to easily access daily updates. You can also find a link to the page on the banner at the top of each district webpage.

Please note if there is no community message on the district website posted for a particular school day, then the district did not receive confirmation from the Albany County Public Health Department of any positive cases for that day.

• Three individuals at Cohoes Middle School have tested positive.  One individual was last in school on Sept. 20th and the others last day in school was Sept. 24. No additional contact tracing is required per ACDOH.
• One individual at Van Schaick Grade School has tested positive. The individual was last in school on Sept. 13. No additional contact tracing is required per ACDOH.
• One individual at Cohoes High School has tested positive. The individual was last in school on Sept. 24. No additional contact tracing is required by ACDOH.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 28, 2021

• The district has been advised by Albany County Department of Health that one case at Abram Lansing reported yesterday did require contact tracing. Anyone who is required to quarantine has been contacted by school district officials and will also be contacted by ACDOH.
• One individual at Cohoes Middle School has tested positive. The last day they were in school was Sept. 20. No additional contact tracing is required per ACDOH.
• Two individuals at Abram Lansing School have tested positive. One individual was last in school on Sept. 22, and the other’s last day in school was Sept. 24. No additional contact tracing is required per ACDOH.
