For students in Grades K-2:
- Performance on the iReady Reading and Math Assessments (Fall, Winter, Spring): Students scoring below the 30th percentile will be considered for AIS.
Other student performance measures that will also be taken into consideration (as applicable) include:
- Scoring significantly below level on the Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Reading Assessments
- Students scoring below the 25th percentile on AIMs Web.
- Teacher recommendation
For students in Grades 3- 5 :
All students performing below the median scale scores listed below on the Grade 3-5 ELA or Mathematics NYS assessment will be considered for AIS.
