The Draft 2024-2025 District Wide Safety Plan was presented at the July 10, 2024 Public Hearing and is available for public comment for 30 days, through August 12.
Comments should be submitted directly to Mary Rumsey, district clerk at mrumsey@cohoes.org no later than 4 p.m. on August 12, 2024.
The District Wide Safety Plan is required by law to ensure that schools are ready to prevent or minimize the effects of serious incidents and emergencies. It is also used to facilitate coordination with local and county resources in the event of an emergency.
The plan addresses the needs of all schools within the district and is consistent with a confidential detailed emergency response plan at the school building level.
