The Cohoes City School District Board of Education is made up of seven members who are elected on the third Tuesday in May each year to serve three-year terms.
A school board member takes on one of the most important citizen responsibilities: overseeing the education of the community’s youth. School boards are composed of volunteers within the community who dedicate their time to the betterment of public education.
This year, three members will be elected to three-year terms (July 1, 2022-June 30, 2025) during the annual budget vote and board of education election, which takes place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
