At its March 24, 2021 meeting, the Cohoes Board of Education approved an updated version of the District-wide School Safety Plan that includes a Communicable Disease/Pandemic Continuity of Operations Plan. The safety plan has been developed to meet the requirements of subsection (2)(m) of Education Law §2801-a, which requires public employers to prepare a plan for the continuation of operations if the Governor declares a public health emergency involving a communicable disease.
